Additionally, it collaborates with various governmental organizations and private educational institutions to enhance the scope and impact of our initiatives. • Gender sensitization programs: Devaswom Board College, Thalayolaparambu, is committed to implementing extension activities focused on gender sensitization with an objective to raise awareness, promote understanding, and cultivate positive attitudes towards gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity within the college community and beyond.
• Rural Upliftment and Well-being: The college’s involvement in various community matters addresses the upliftment and well-being of rural residents belonging to socially and economically marginalized sections in the vicinity.
• Balancing Academic Commitments: We ensure that students do not compromise their study time and class hours while participating in these activities. Most activities are scheduled during holidays or outside of class hours to minimize disruption.
