Rain Gauge Monitoring Station

An IQAC Initiative
Devaswom Board College Thalayolaparambu

Welcome to the Daily Rainfall Monitoring page of Devaswom Board College Thalayolaparambu.

Rainfall is an important component of the water cycle and plays a vital role in understanding local weather patterns, water availability, agriculture, and environmental changes. Through this initiative, the college records and monitors daily rainfall using a rain gauge installed on the campus.

Rainfall is measured in millimetres (mm). One millimetre of rainfall corresponds to one litre of water collected over an area of one square metre.

Operated by Bhoomithrasena Club

The Rain Gauge Monitoring Station is operated and maintained by the Bhoomithrasena Club of Devaswom Board College Thalayolaparambu.

Through this initiative, students actively participate in:

  • Promoting scientific observation and environmental responsibility

Every Drop Counts. Every Day Matters.
